Our Story
Make A Wave was started by Alisa Verratti as a club on Saint Joseph's University's campus in February of 2016. The aim of the club was to help as many foster children as possible. We started by having collection drives on campus. After some time, we wanted to expand in order to reach more children in need. In April of 2017, Make A Wave became an incorporated non-profit organization. This now gives us more accessibility and leverage, in order to extend our hands to children in foster care.
Our Goal
Make A Wave Inc. plans to reach as many children and families as we can with the donations collected. Our goal is to provide the children with resources they need but may not have. With this unwavering effort, we plan to give these children a chance to live a childhood full of hope, achievement and gratification.
